Our Ear Posting is a specialized grooming and care service for certain dog breeds whose ears are meant to stand upright after being cropped. It’s commonly done for breeds like Doberman Pinscher, Great Dane, or Boxer.
After a puppy’s ears are surgically cropped, they don’t naturally stay upright right away. Ear posting involves carefully placing soft supports (often foam or rods) inside the ear and wrapping them with tape to train the cartilage to stand properly as it heals and strengthens. This process usually requires regular re-posting—every few days or weekly—for several weeks or even months, depending on the dog.
Our professionals ensure the ears are positioned correctly, the wrapping is safe (not too tight), and the ears stay clean and infection-free.
